Blessed are Ye

How does one receive Gods best and yet live as though they received nothing?
When you receive Jesus and experience salvation- you received God’s best. God loved you so much that He sent his best to give His live that you might experience life. You didn’t receive a philosophy but you came into a personal transforming relationship with GOD. 1 Peter 2: 10 says, in time past we were not a people but now are the people of God. He changed us from a nothing to a Somebody.
Yet so many receive Jesus and the forgiveness of sins but still see themselves as sinners saved by grace. The emphasis is on Sinners. They recognize their salvation but continue to identify with the old man .
In Luke 1:46-48 Mary recognizes her low estate but walked away in her new position “BLESSED“. When we came to Jesus we came in our low estate ( sinner ) but let’s walk away in our new position “BLESSED“.
Jesus met a woman at a well who was a Samaritan ( dog ) who had been married five times and was at the present living in sin. When she met Jesus at the well she was a NOTHING but she walked away forgiven and a SOMEBODY.
A woman was brought to Jesus who was caught in the act of adultery and according to the religious law of the day she deserved death by stoning. When she met Jesus she was not only forgiven but walked away no longer condemned . She walked away BLESSED.
Jesus met a demon possessed man who was not in his right mind . This man met the ( chain breaker ) . He was set free and ready to follow Jesus. HE met him as a nothing and walked away BLESSED.
We all meet Jesus as a nothing but He doesn’t want us to stay a nothing. Let’s recognize that we have not only been forgiven but BLESSED.
So to answer the question, how does one receive God’s best yet live as though they received nothing. It’s because they keep hanging on to the past and unlike Mary don’t walk in their new position BLESSED!
You are blessed , walk in your new nature’ the righteousness of God in Christ.
