About Without Walls Church
We are a sprit filled church believing that the presence and power to the Holy Spirit is as real and active today as He was in the book of Acts. We believe the Bible to be God’s relevant word today because truth comes from God and is eternal.
As a church we were led by the Holy Spirit to our present location (in a low income neighborhood) to be able to fulfill Matt 25:31-46.
Church for us is not confined to our four walls, for worship and preaching. We do have four walls, great worship, and inspiring teaching but the word asks what are we doing with the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, the sick, strangers and prisoners. It seems that if this is the first question we will be asked, then we must do this caring for physical and emotional needs; our door is opened to present the gospel.
To accomplish this we formed a separate non-profit charity (the Fort Worth Hope Center). Through this branch we provide over three million dollars of food and clothing a year to over eighty thousand people.
We have job training programs and find jobs for the unemployed. This is giving significance to those who lost their sense of self-worth. Hundreds have been trained and have found jobs. This is making a big difference in our community.
We have partnered with the Fort Worth Police Department and have birthed the PAL (Police Athletic League) at our location. This is for us, together with the police, to reach the local kids through sports before the gangs and drug dealers reach them.
We are also heavily involved in missions. Through giving and training missionaries and pastors in other countries, we are now involved in over thirty countries.
